Just finished the second part of my fifth artefact. Now at first glance, it might not look all that different but I've tried to keep the design the same so the user pays attention to what is actually being promoted rather than saying "this one looks better etc".Anyway, this second email advertisement follows the same 'The Apple Experience' theme but more forcefully aims to get the consumer to buy their products. To compare the two in terms of one promoting brand awareness and the other promoting sales, it will be interesting to discover the similarities and differences and users would generally act in different ways to two different types of email marketing.
Once again, the screenshot does it little justice so please view the email advert by clicking the link below.

I definitely prefer the "awareness" advert. I don't feel as though I'm being pushed into buying anything thats why. Don't think I would pay much attention to a "For Sale" type of advert.
I really like the way you have designed these email ads. I don't usually pay attention when things like this land in my inbox but looking at it from a design perspective, I think that because you kept the designs the same, you tend to try and spot the differences and I would say that the advert where you've written the prices and stuff, I don't think is a very good marketing tool. The one that promotes awareness as you put it, is more informative and shows that you can promote a product without forcing the person looking at it to buy it.
